Health Professions Preparatory Courses

UB is pleased to offer several summer session courses that are pre-requisites for professional programs of medicine, dental medicine, veterinary medicine, optometry, podiatry and physician assistant. Please consult with a prehealth advisor prior to taking summer science courses.

Please note these are the courses recommended for UB students; therefore, students enrolled at other undergraduate schools may wish to confer with the prehealth advisor at their home institution prior to enrolling in courses at UB.

Additional information for UB students who are considering medical and health-related fields can be found on the Prehealth advising website. Non-UB students may find some of this information useful but should also be sure to reference any resources from their home school and the professional program for which they are seeking admission.
